Carpet Versus Cleaning

DIY, which stands for Do It Yourself, is a personal philosophy, way of life and general mindset that developed at some point in the mid to late 20th century. It was the result of the propagation of numerous services that said that they could do everything for you for a price, and suffice it to say that many people felt that this was not altogether necessary because they could just Do It Themselves, so to speak.

While DIY mentalities are by no means a new phenomenon at this current point in time, it continues to be a niche belief that we feel like more people should at the very least consider adopting if not immerse themselves into it wholeheartedly. This isn’t just because it’ll save you money either, rather it will also help you do things the way that they are meant to be done: the right way. For example, you don’t need to hire anyone at all to do the best carpet cleaning out there, since there are countless ways for you to perform this process in a DIY manner.

Carpet Versus Cleaning

The basic method that needs to be used for DIY carpet cleaning is as follows: start with a vacuuming so that you can remove loose dust particles and bits of debris, follow this with a light misting of diluted fabric softener and vinegar, let this sit for an hour and then run a steam cleaner all over it. You can use a cleaning wand if you want a tool that is super portable, but either way steam cleaning is the all important final step that will be the cherry on top, so try not to skimp out on it.
